WHAT YOU WILL DO

This position is located in St. Charles and is u nder the supervision of the Director of Therapy Relief at Hope, the Speech & Language Pathologist provides and speech/language therapy in a school environment in the St. Charles, MO region.

  • Evaluate students' communication skills and implement speech and language treatment based on established goals, in individual or group settings.
  • Serve, communicate, and consult as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Maintain detailed records and compile written progress reports and treatment plans as needed, IEPs.
  • Evaluate need and type of augmentative communication devices (AAC) and provide guidance and training to parents/guardians, teachers, and/or staff members on the use of devices.
  • Participate in ongoing IEP , as well as staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Master's degree from approved school of speech-language pathology
  • Missouri license in speech-language pathology
