Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America)
The Accounts Payable (AP) Supervisor will contribute to the hospital's success by driving compliant, accurate, timely and consistent processes allowing for timely, efficient, and accurate cash planning and disbursements to its suppliers. Responsibilities include balancing day-to-day management of the AP workflow, overseeing AP staff, and continuous review and enhancement of process, functions, and capabilities to improve cash flow and ensure excellent supplier services. The ideal candidate must have AP supervisory experience in a Mid-size to Large Organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices
  • Proactively identify key trends and variances impacting payments and vendors
  • Continually review payment planning and forecasting to improve efficiency
  • Establish staff responsibilities, payment parameters, and set measurable goals
  • Effectively drive a culture of collaboration, accountability, and vendor service
  • Audit work of AP staff to maintain efficiency and accuracy
  • Direct management of 3 staff members, including performance management, coaching, and mentoring
  • Alert management to irregularities, trends, and areas of concern with supplier payments and cash flow
  • Run, review, and analyze department reporting systems and provide assessment and feedback of current Key Performance Indicators (KPI) outcomes for the department to staff, direct manager and senior leadership
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures and Training Manuals for payables function.
  • Experience with Purchase Orders, Vendors, and Electronic Data Interface / EDI is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Excel is required.
  • Support in an annual audit

Qualifications & Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years supervisory/management experience. A combination of Education and Supervisory experience will be considered.
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, communication, decision-making, analytical skills
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and cultivate a productive staff
  • Ability to run reports, analyze data, and provide data-driven recommendations and solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across multiple levels of an organization,
  • Strong time management skills, with an ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks against competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Technologically savvy with extensive ERP system experience.
  • Knowledge of Workday is a PLUS.
  • Flexible and approachable to colleagues, leadership, and inter-departmental stakeholders

Salary Range:
  • $80k - $95k /annually
