Job Description
Accounts Receivable Specialist
Great opportunity for a dynamic person excited about working within our accounting team. Join a fast paced/growing plastics manufacturing organization committed to a high level of excellence in service to our clients.
This position is responsible for heavy account reconciliations, resolving customer deductions/disputes, along with collections.
Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Heavy reconciliations; deductions, discounts, and customer disputes.
• Review and maintain a portfolio of assigned accounts and all applicable collection reports.
• Make calls or send emails in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations.
• Resolve client disputes in a timely manner.
• Respond to daily emails (internal or external) in a timely manner.
• Follow up on emails for "promise to pay" and "payment reminders" in a timely manner.
• Have a working relationship with vendors, internal sales personnel, and customers.
• Assist with other tasks within the accounting department as they are assigned.
Experience and Skills
• The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 4-5 years heavy accounts receivable/collections.
• Heavy account reconciliations - deductions, discounts, and disputes
• Strong communication, problem solving, common sense, and analytical skills A MUST.
• Organized and attention to detail A MUST.
• Ability to communicate within all departments and management levels.
• Ability to work well within a team and independently.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
• Ability to follow written & verbal instructions.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook - will test excel skills, basic functions.
• Great Plains Microsoft Dynamics a plus.
• NetSuite a plus.
• Motivated and reliable.
• Working Knowledge of vendor portals, a plus.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $50,000.00 - $55,000.00
