As Bilingual Business Services Manager, you will manage the Sales team that builds business relationships with local area employers for direct placement of jobseekers.

The Washington Heights Workforce1 Career Center offers a set of services customized to meet the needs of foreign and native-born New Yorkers ages 18 and up. We work with customers who are authorized to work in the United States. Our Center is unique in the way we help clients pursue training opportunities, connect to employment, and develop valuable skills to improve job candidacy while navigating public benefits.

Responsibilities:
Successful Elements:

Oversee Account Manager Team, manage scheduling, and work with Center Director on quarterly and yearly reviews.

Support Account Managers in developing relationships with local businesses and developing a network for job placement by researching prospective target employers with high-volume hiring needs.

Attend networking events both in person and virtually

Coordinate delivery of services by completion of sales process and fulfillment of job orders with designated partner organizations to ensure employer needs are met during the hiring process.

Oversee confirmation of hires - enter employer information into all appropriate databases and monitor employer activities.

Implement and update Job Order Checklists and Handoff Call Checklists for team

Develop a business development plan each Quarter and provide target estimates, goals and periodic progress reports.

Maintain organized database of clients, ensure accurate completion required documentation and keep detailed documentation of all contacts with clients.

Meet with funder weekly, monthly, and quarterly to communicate progress toward goal and share real-time feedback

Help to ensure that positive outcomes and goals are met as required by contract.

Meet performance criteria on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis by tracking and submitting weekly reports.

Qualifications:
Required Experience:

Bilingual English/Spanish, English/French, or English/Haitian Creole required

Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems.

Experience managing a team of 3 or more people required

Demonstrated telephone, computer and written communication skills.

Ability to maintain flexibility as needs of contract or contractor require.

Three years of Sales experience required.

Knowledge of MS Windows, Word and Excel

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
