Sanitas Medical Center is hiring a Full-Time RN Charge Nurse for our Palm Beach - Lake Worth facility in Lake Worth, FL. In this role, you will perform nursing duties in an outpatient setting across multiple facilities, providing onsite clinical and training support for nurses and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP). Collaborating with operations and medical leadership, you will ensure that clinical staff perform at their highest potential while promoting quality bedside nursing care.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the clinical team with emergent patient care needs.
  • Conduct training and competency assessments for staff.
  • Perform clinical interviews for medical assistant and nurse candidates.
  • Establish effective communication between staff and leaders.
  • Serve as a role model, emphasizing service orientation and patient care improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee clinical procedures such as vaccinations and wound care.
  • Maintain communication with Nursing Leadership regarding productivity and staff development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • BS or graduate from an accredited nursing school required.
  • IV Certification and active State of Florida RN License required.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office required.
  • CPR-BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
  • 2 years of care management or patient education experience preferred.

Required Skills

Active clear state Registered Nurse License

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, ASN

1+ years outpatient primary care setting

Proficient in ECW, Excel, Word, and Power Point

Fluent written and spoken communication in English and Spanish

Travel is required most of the time

CPR-BLS required

Optional Skills

2+ year in primary and urgent care setting

Bachelor of Nursing preferred

Knowledge of state scope of practices of nursing and of Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP)

Worked independently

ACLS preferred
