Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee operations in our food processing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Implement and monitor compliance with HACCP, CGMP, and FDA regulations within the production environment.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure proper maintenance and safety standards are upheld.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Oversee packaging processes to ensure products meet quality specifications before distribution.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with CGMP practices in a food production setting.
- Mechanical knowledge related to food processing equipment and machinery.
- Experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to fabricate solutions for operational challenges as they arise.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in the food industry is highly desirable.
