Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team at E-Therapy. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing bilingual speech-language therapy services to students with communication disorders in school settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills in both English and the target language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, etc.).
  • Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans to address students' communication goals and objectives in their primary language and English.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in small groups, targeting areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, vocabulary development, and social communication.
  • Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school staff to integrate speech-language therapy goals and strategies into students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and classroom activities.
  • Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and other members of the educational team to provide updates on students' progress, therapy goals, and recommendations for home practice.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques, materials, and technology to enhance students' speech and language skills and promote generalization of skills across settings.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions, assessments, progress reports, and other relevant documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification or proficiency in the target language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, etc.).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Previous experience working as a bilingual speech-language pathologist in a school or educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and therapy techniques in both English and the target language.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, school staff, and related service providers.
  • Proficiency in assessment, therapy planning, and documentation.
  • Experience in teletherapy or online speech-language therapy services (preferred).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and move around in various areas of the school facility.
