Controller, bilingual in Korean

Job Summary
This position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with GAAP. This position is also responsible for day to day operation of HR function and office operation.

Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


• Issue timely and complete financial statements
• Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing
decisions, and contract negotiation
• Manage the production of the annual budget and forecast
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
• Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an
organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives
• Oversee the accounting operations of subsidiary corporations, especially their control
systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures
• Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit
• Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
• Administrate general HR functions such as hireling, termination, payroll, benefit
• Administrate general GA functions such as office environment maintenance, corporate
event planning & execution, office supplies purchase
• Support CFO as required

Qualifications
• Management experience directing the activities of others
• Must have analytical skills to identify and correct financial mistakes and problems
• Must have professional knowledge of accounting

Education and/ or Experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience
• CPA or CMA plus
