Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Service Representative/Head Teller to join our team. This job involves supervising the Teller Unit at an assigned community branch office to ensure efficient and accurate payment and receiving services. Key responsibilities include managing teller operations, ensuring adherence to policies, supervising staff, coordinating work with other departments, maintaining cash levels, and providing reports. The role also supports customer service and sales efforts by assisting with account services, cross-selling opportunities, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Additionally, the supervisor works with the Branch Executive Officer to set unit goals, implements strategies to achieve them, and trains and evaluates staff. Compliance with regulatory and safety policies is crucial, as well as maintaining proper communication with management and other teams. The supervisor may also handle ancillary duties such as providing safe deposit services, overseeing the office in the absence of the Branch Executive Officer, or stepping in as a Teller when needed.

Requirements

Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent with an emphasis in accounting or business curriculum.

Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing, grammar, accounting, analytical, and mathematics skills; moderate computer skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; moderate typing and office machine skills; ability to lift approximately fifty (50) lbs. of coin; demonstrated management and supervisory skills; visual and auditory skills; a comprehensive knowledge of all bank forms and documents used in opening new accounts; a working knowledge of bank consumer products and services, along with the operating policies and procedures that impact these products.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years' experience in related positions normally required.
