Director of E-Commerce (Bilingual Korean and English)

Job Description
- Drive company's attendance and revenue through marketing platforms including sales forecasting, price promotions, advertising media and digital engagement.
- Grow company's awareness and acquisition with a focus on increasing return visitor frequency by providing compelling reasons for return visits.
- Ensure the efficient operation of all consumer digital platforms, including websites, apps and ticketing systems.
- Utilize digital-marketing tactics to reach customers and prospects on a highly personalized basis, efficiently and at scale.
- Manage company's customer file growth, including proper data hygiene, security and compliance.
- Monitor performance of all paid media to ensure the maximum return on ad spend according to the organization's customer acquisition and conversion strategies.
- Coordinate with Head of Marketing and media agencies to ensure advertising creative is aligned to the media channel and strategy.
- Define key metrics to track overall quality of data & success of data use. Track and report out metrics quarterly.
- Day-to-day management, optimization, and sales reporting of the brand site.
- Create and track major digital metrics and KPI's, building reports to give cross functional and senior management visibility into digital performance and regularly share insights and optimization.
- Commission research, through internal resources and external providers, to gain deeper insight into company's operations, customers and prospective customers.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to help develop and execute pricing strategies.
- Create and manage annual budgets and monitor expenses for relevant department.
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day merchandising and operations to achieve sales objectives and enable best-in-class brand and customer experience.
- Manage the site experience and strategy roadmap for the DTC sales channel.
- Oversee and manage key functions of each site including web content development, performance reporting and analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Develop promotions, GWPs, online exclusives, and site experiences that deliver monthly and annual revenue goals.
- Manage the daily and monthly sales calendar and SKU forecasting for the brand site.
- Work with creative and web development partners to create, launch and QA new features on a rolling basis that drive incremental business.
- Partner with operations and supply chain to set guidelines for appropriate sell through and merchandising of limited life items and forecasting of new product launches.
- Partner with customer service to quickly resolve issues and identify opportunities to improve customer UX.
- Partner with the Marketing partners to optimize paid media performance and CRM programming for maximum conversion on site.
- Manage ecommerce team, developing their skillset and driving growth in the channel.
- Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years experience in direct/ecommerce environment.
- 5+ years of relevant E-commerce platform management and digital marketing experience.
- 5+ years of email marketing or relevant experience.
- Proven track record of driving results and innovation from ecommerce initiatives.
- Ability to identify, scope and implement digital solutions while meeting ROI goals.
- High proficiency in e-com KPIs, online analytics and testing; knowledge of Google Analytics.
- Experience managing day-to-day operations of an ecommerce platform, preferably Shopify.
- Strong understanding of e-com optimization platforms and solutions (such as Yotpo, Attentive, Shopify, Google Analytics, Klaviyo, Searchspring, etc.).
- Ability to balance customer experience, business needs, and resources to ensure correct prioritization of cross-functional work.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce design principles and web analytics, preferably Google Analytics.
- Extensive understanding of online marketing industry trends, tactics, current events, and user behavior.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, attention to detail, customer-service orientation, and creative problem solving.
- Proven ability to lead a high-performing team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate complicated concepts and recommended courses of action to engage diverse audiences and influence senior executives.
- Highly agile and able to execute while dealing with ambiguity.
- Experience in Nail category, Beauty, or Consumer Products a plus.
- Has a global mindset, is detailed and execution-oriented.
