Japanese Bilingual Relocation Agent Work Location: Irvine, CA (Onsite ) After the introductory period, the hybrid schedule (3x in-office) is available. However, this role requires fieldwork, including frequent property showings, especially in the Irvine area with a short notice. (Expecting up-to 3 times a week for the 10am - 5pm window). FLSA: Non-Exempt, Direct-Hire Job Description The Relocation Real Estate Agent provides consultation and support for expatriates from Japan to find and set up their temporary rental housings in Orange County area. The duties include creating a list of properties based on client desired criteria, setting appointments for property viewing, assisting applications and contract reviews, support move-in and post move-in. The ideal candidate is a quick-thinking, customer-focused individual who can effectively navigate the fast-paced real estate market. Responsibilities: Assist client executives and their families with all aspects of relocation needs to facilitate their global transition to Orange County area. Conduct meetings to understand client's housing needs and preferences (apartments, townhouses, target move-in dates, budgets, location etc.). Provide local and cultural information about rental housing market, schools, banks, shops, and others to help clients to make decisions. Research rental properties to fit each client needs, coordinate and attend property viewing tours. Liaise between clients and rental properties (leasing office, landlord, owners) during application processes, move-ins, rental terms, and move-outs. Schedule and conduct property showings on short notice, often in the Irvine area. Assist with applications from obtaining documents from clients to be prepared for rental application to interpreting and helping clients understand lease agreements and terms. Provide tailored assistance to clients in setting up the living situation by applying utilities and ordering furniture. Participate a move-in inspection with clients and property owners to identify any structural/ functional issues and request for any repair as needed. Conduct a move-in orientation for clients and provide instructions on basic information and rules about the property. Provide post move-in assistances upon request (such as calling in repairmen on behalf, renewing contracts) to achieve satisfaction with properties and services. Complete final move-out process from reviewing service agreement and attending move-out inspection with and for clients. Respond to messages and inquiries about the relocation services provided by the company. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications: Flexibility to accommodate short-notice requests, especially for property showings in the Irvine and other OC area Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Fluency in Japanese language skills (reading/writing/speaking) Real estate agent license (or willingness to study and obtain). The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
