Job Description

Fantastic opportunity for a Sales/Business Development Manager to join an industry leader. Must be bilingual English/Japanese.
Volt is hiring a Sales/Business Development Manager in Duluth, GA.
As a Sales/Business Development Manager, you will:
Come from a logistics/freight forwarding background and have a high level experience working in the global transportation field.
Must have a history of quantifiable sales achievements.
Must have experience with global companies and have digital freight forwarding experience.
Bachelor degree in Business or Marketing is preferred.
Looking for someone who is strategic and highly collaborative.
This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher required in a business-related field
7+ years of experience in international freight forwarding, warehouse operations with supply chain knowledge and/or relevant logistics sales experience required
Possess a thorough understanding of the domestic and international transportation industry (trucking, rail, air and ocean modes)
Ability to build trustworthy relationships with customers at all levels (C Level, Managers, Staff)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
Bilingual in Japanese/English preferred
Experience working with Japanese companies preferred
Ability to travel up to 30% U.S., Canada, and Mexico
Salary: $85-110K per year plus substantial bonus
