Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physician (Bilingual Spanish) - Remote

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physician to join an award-winning, nationwide, virtual-first medical practice. This role is fully remote and will provide patient care across the United States and Puerto Rico. Our client is an organization focused on enhancing the quality of care provided to patients with musculoskeletal conditions. Their unique care model connects patients with a trained interdisciplinary team, including nonoperative physicians, health coaches, and physical therapists, to manage their care effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Virtually evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions from Monday to Friday.
  • Maintain a regular clinic schedule, including at least one evening per week and participate in an after-hours call schedule.
  • Engage in weekly patient rounds and contribute to discussions on challenging cases.
  • Stay updated on professional knowledge through educational workshops and publications.
  • Ensure compliance with company and quality standards.
  • Participate in internal workgroups and contribute to the development of medical standard operating procedures.
  • Focus on providing an outstanding total patient experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Direct and indirect supervision of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) with collaborative agreements in place.
  • Perform additional projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Board certification in one of the following specialties:
    • Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation with MSK/Sports/Spine Fellowship
    • Family Medicine with MSK/Sports/Spine Fellowship
    • Emergency Medicine with MSK/Sports/Spine Fellowship
    • Internal Medicine with MSK/Sports/Spine Fellowship
  • MD/DO with an unrestricted license in the United States and Puerto Rico, with at least 3 years of clinical practice post-training.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish.
  • Experience with virtual care delivery and a willingness to obtain multiple state licenses.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage team dynamics effectively.
  • Proven ability to match patient needs to treatment plans and implement them safely.
  • Ability to describe medical conditions in an understandable fashion
  • Experience administering a wide range of techniques delivered digitally
  • Strong sense of empathy, a compassionate outlook and the ability to motivate patients into pushing their limits in a responsible, safe way.

Nice-to-Haves:
  • Experience with non-operative fracture care and bone health management.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and development.

Location:

This is a remote work position. Candidates must have a high-speed internet connection and the ability to work from home.

Compensation: $225,000 USD to $250,000
