Occupational Therapist - OT - PACE Program

Requirements to Apply:

  • Bilingual: English & Cantonese, and/or Mandarin (Required)
  • Education/Degrees: Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy program
  • Licenses/Certifications: Licensed in the state of California through California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT) Required; NBCOT Certification Preferred; Advanced Practice or Certifications Desirable
  • Years of experience: Must have 3 years minimum clinical practice in Adult Physical Disability, with experience working with geriatric population required; 5 years preferred
  • Must have a California driver's license

U nder the administrative direction and supervision of the Center/Program Manager and the clinical supervision of the Occupational Therapy Program Specialist, the Occupational Therapist provides treatment &/or interventions and oversees the OT Functional Maintenance Program to PACE participants.

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 40 hours a week

Times: 8:00AM to 4:30PM

Pay rate: $53.55 to $59.50 per hour (Depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Provides Occupational Therapy treatment & interventions to PACE participants
  • Provides training, guidance, and supervision to Rehabilitation Aides and participant/family member in carrying out the Functional Maintenance Program
  • Participates actively in the interdisciplinary team by offering clinical expertise in team planning, problem solving, and processes
  • Fulfills all administrative requirements, including but not limited to center-based supervision of rehabilitation department in collaboration with PT, attendance at team & staff meetings, and recording & tracking of OT rehabilitation equipment
  • Other related job duties as assigned
