Job Description
SUMMARY: This position will perform a variety of administrative tasks in support of the human resources and payroll department.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Assists in the creation and maintenance of human resources forms or documents.
  • Answers basic employee questions about human resources policies or offerings.
  • Processes employee status changes or benefits enrollments.
  • Inputs HR-related data and compiles standard reports for management review.
  • Updating payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits such as job title changes, exemptions, and deductions.
  • Uses payroll software, input payroll data, and assist in preparing payroll checks.
  • Answers employee questions related to payroll and resolves issues.
  • Helps to ensure payroll practices meet company policies and government compliance.

  • Strong computer skills such as typing, system and software knowledge
  • Accurate data entry skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with employees regarding their issues and concerns
  • Ability to multitask in a busy environment with specific deadlines
  • Ability to work independently in a time-sensitive environment
  • Confidentiality and respect for the privacy of employee records
  • Proficiency reading and speaking the Spanish language strongly preferred

Education and/or experience:

Typically requires a high school diploma and 0 to 2 years of experience.
