Job Description
SUMMARY:
This position will perform a variety of administrative tasks in support of the human resources and payroll department.
JOB DUTIES:
Assists in the creation and maintenance of human resources forms or documents.
Answers basic employee questions about human resources policies or offerings.
Processes employee status changes or benefits enrollments.
Inputs HR-related data and compiles standard reports for management review.
Updating payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits such as job title changes, exemptions, and deductions.
Uses payroll software, input payroll data, and assist in preparing payroll checks.
Answers employee questions related to payroll and resolves issues.
Helps to ensure payroll practices meet company policies and government compliance.
Qualification Requirements:

Strong computer skills such as typing, system and software knowledge
Accurate data entry skills with great attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with employees regarding their issues and concerns
Ability to multitask in a busy environment with specific deadlines
Ability to work independently in a time-sensitive environment
Confidentiality and respect for the privacy of employee records
Proficiency reading and speaking the Spanish language strongly preferred
Education and/or experience:
Typically requires a high school diploma and 0 to 2 years of experience.
