As the Staff Accountant/Accounts Receivable, with experience in all aspects of accounting, you will play an integral part in the billing and accounts receivable process for assigned divisions of Moore.

Your impact:
  • Responsible for the coordination and preparation of all aspects of billing for assigned divisions of Moore, including routine shipments, summary invoicing, waste billing, resale of outside purchases of products/services, debits, pro-forma and bill and hold.
  • Coordinates with account managers and clients to ensure the accuracy of information as it relates to the billing process.
  • Creates standard invoicing according to company practices and submits them to clients as needed.
  • Prepares final accounts receivable summary invoices, which include the calculation of sales tax. Ensures accuracy of all details.
  • Completes review of costs versus sales and confirms accuracy prior to finalizing the invoicing of outside purchases of products and/or services.
  • Assists with accounts payable, job costing, purchase order and receiving functions as needed.

Your Profile:
  • Three or more years of experience in accounts receivable, including experience managing diverse, high-volume accounts.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Proficiency in accounts receivable, with experience in accounts payable, job costing, purchase order and receiving functions.
  • Strong customer service and oral and written communication skills required and the ability to interact with all levels of staff and of management, as well as external clients.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with GP/Dynamics, New Suite, Monarch.
