Your Role As the Teaching Kitchen Chef and Director of Clinical Nutrition at Near North Health, you will lead an innovative culinary medicine program that empowers patients, families, and the community with practical cooking skills and evidence-based nutrition education. You'll collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver culturally responsive medical nutrition therapy, design engaging culinary curricula, and oversee the daily operations of our teaching kitchen. In this role, you'll mentor dietetic interns, supervise staff, and foster community partnerships to promote health literacy and wellness. Your leadership and creativity will help transform lives by integrating nutrition and culinary arts into patient-centered care. Qualifications Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field. Registered Dietitian required. Culinary experience required; a degree in culinary arts is preferred. Certification as a Culinary Medicine Specialist (or equivalent) within six months of hire. Licensure/Certification: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, State licensure/certification as a dietitian-nutritionist, ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety credential within six months of hire. Years of Experience: At least three years of experience in clinical dietetics, culinary nutrition, or a related field. Ambulatory care or teaching experience is preferred. Compensation Compensation is determined based on each candidate's experience, skills, and education, within the established range for the role.
